Preparing offline startup… Open each vineyard while connected first. Reopening offline requires a current sign-in session; if it expires, reconnect. Browser storage can be cleared, so keep backups.

Your field test guide
Start with a 20–30 minute session. Test real tasks in your own sandbox and tell us where the app gets in your way. A failed step is useful feedback; skip anything you cannot complete.

Before you begin
Invited testers: use only your isolated test copy. Adi: use a separate QA vineyard for these tests, never the live Dalmasso workspace. Label new records TEST. Keep your source files, and avoid personal or confidential photos. Optional usage and browser diagnostics help us find faults; the privacy page explains what is collected and your browser preference. There is no screen recording.
1. Sign in to your own test vineyard
Open Blanquefort in Safari on iPhone/iPad or Chrome on Android/PC. Avoid the small browser inside an email or messaging app. Choose Continue with Google and use the account Adi invited.
Confirm the workspace says TEST SANDBOX and isolated test copy. Choose Dalmasso. Stop and contact Adi if the sandbox is missing or you appear to be in someone else’s vineyard. Do not use another tester’s login.
Write down the date, device model, operating-system version and browser version. If a version is hard to find, say unknown.
2. Explore the map and 3D
Open Map & Boundary and select Dalmasso from the saved parcel buttons. On a phone or tablet the map should open in its own screen; Back to dashboard should close it. Check portrait and landscape.
Open Dalmasso’s 3D view. Move around, zoom, select a row and inspect a vine. Check that the selected parcel and records match Dalmasso, not the demonstration vineyard. Empty/dead positions should be easy to distinguish.
Close and reopen each view three times. Note a blank screen, error, freeze, lost selection or difficult touch control. Try the displayed retry control once if needed. Schematic spacing is not a surveyed position or terrain measurement.
3. Save a note and an original
Expand Field notes, choose a row and vine position, and enter your name as Observer. Save a note such as TEST — your name — date — online. Reopen Vine history & evidence and check it is on the intended vine.
Expand Field intelligence and select Handwritten field notes. Write a short sentence with a date and number, or upload a photo of a paper note. For ink, choose Use handwritten page, then Preserve originals & observations.
While online, try Transcribe with AI once. Compare it to the original, correct mistakes and choose Save reviewed notation. Reopen the saved original and reviewed text. Report wrong numbers, names or missing words. If AI fails, keep the original and record the error; do not repeatedly retry.
4. Work offline, then reconnect
First open the sandbox, Dalmasso and a saved original while online. Wait for Saved to cloud and Original uploads up to date on this device. Do not clear browser data or use private browsing during this test.
Enable airplane mode and make sure Wi-Fi is also off. In the already opened app, save another TEST note and preserve a new photo or handwritten original. Check that both remain accessible. AI and new aerial-map tiles are not expected to work offline.
Reload the previously opened app once while offline and note whether it opens with your records. If it does not, reconnect; do not delete anything. Offline startup depends on a previously cached app and an unexpired session.
Reconnect and keep the app open. Wait for records and originals to finish syncing. If they remain pending, record the message and use Sync now once. Verify both new and old records on the same device.
5. Check a second device and sign out
On your own second device, sign in with the same invited Google account. Open the same sandbox, row and vine. Confirm the online note, offline note, reviewed text and original image all arrived. If no second device is available, mark this step Not tested.
Once all records and originals are synced, use Sign out. Confirm the sign-in screen appears, then sign in again and check your saved work. If sign-out warns about unsaved work, resolve it instead of discarding it.
Tell Adi which steps passed, failed or were not tested. Do not remove your test evidence until it has been reviewed.
Extra check · survey import → 3D
Use the Dalmasso workbook Adi supplied, or an existing saved review copy in your sandbox. Saving a review copy alone does not change the 3D vineyard.
Open Import vineyard survey. Upload and save the workbook review, or open its existing saved copy.
Under Publish to vineyard, select Create a new unmapped parcel. Name it TEST — your name — import — date. Choose Confirm import into parcel. Use a new parcel so the sandbox’s starting Dalmasso copy stays available for comparison.
Choose Open imported parcel. Open its 3D view and compare the rows and positions with the import summary. This workbook’s acceptance baseline is 28 rows and 3,623 operational positions. Unmapped records should remain schematic; no boundary is invented.
Switch back to the original Dalmasso and confirm the view follows the parcel selection. Report a stale demonstration layout, missing rows or mismatched counts.
Android · Chrome
Prioritize 3D startup, the survey-to-3D check, portrait/landscape, camera upload, the on-screen keyboard and offline recovery. If 3D is blocked, capture the exact message and Chrome version. Compare the same parcel on desktop Chrome.
iPhone · Safari
Prioritize Google sign-in, opening and closing the full-screen map/3D, touch selection, camera/photo-library upload and handwriting. After preserving a draft, lock the phone briefly, return to the app and check that it remains intact.
iPad · Safari
Prioritize full-screen map/3D, portrait/landscape and handwriting with a finger or Apple Pencil if available. Check the keyboard does not hide Save. Compare saved originals and text on another device using your own account.
PC or Mac · your usual browser
Prioritize mouse/trackpad navigation, readable buttons, panel collapse/expand, keyboard navigation with Tab and visible focus, survey import and exports. Compare the same saved work on mobile. Note the browser name and version.
Vineyard expert review
Compare recorded rows, source codes, vacancies and unresolved identities with the source survey. Try one relevant soil, variety or plant-health assessment using evidence you are allowed to share. Check whether uncertainty, missing context and practical follow-up are clear. AI suggestions are drafts, not confirmed diagnoses or variety identities; do not act on them without expert review.
Send your results to Adi
Use your usual message or email conversation with Adi. Send one report per problem, ideally with a screenshot that shows the message but hides unrelated personal information. Never send passwords or verification codes.
